I was the designer for the 2017 Intercollegiate Taiwanese American Students Association held at University of California, Davis on April 6th-9th. "Lights, Camera, Action!" was the theme of the conference and it included workshops and speakers that revolved around topics and issues about Taiwanese American and Asian American culture and identity. I designed the logo, the shirt, and various brochures and pamphlets. Some famous speakers that attended the conference included Kevin Wu (KevJumba), Mree, Jason Lee (Jubilee Project), Ho Chie Tsai, and numerous others.

When designing the logo, I knew that I want to include Taiwanese elements as well as elements that related to conference. I chose a camera because it best represented the conference theme. I also included the silhouette of Taiwan as well as the Taiwanese flower- the plum blossom. I chose to make the camera outline unneven because it gave the logo more character.

Some of the images shown below are of the sponsorship packet we sent out to companies for donation and the other set is of conference's program.
